Treatment Overview

Ageing, childbirth and menopause can lead to a range of natural changes within the vaginal tissue. Laxity or "looseness" from collagen and elasticity loss, dryness from reduced natural lubrication, and urine leakage post-pregnancy.

You can improve these concerns safely, simply, and effectively with FDA approved FemiLift Laser. Gentle and minimally invasive, you'll notice long lasting results that improve with each session.

Your journey starts with a consultation and assessment with Dr Hala, to identify if FemiLift is right for you. As a registered female gynaecologist, and the first to offer FemiLift in the UK, you're in safe hands.

No pain, no surgery, and minimal downtime so you can go straight back to your day after your 30 minute treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

You'll benefit from both functional and cosmetic improvements with FemiLift. Restored vaginal tightness, improved vaginal hydration, and controlled stress urinary incontinence help improve daily symptoms. You'll notice heightened sensation during intercourse, reduced itching and discomfort, and reduced symptoms of mild urinary leakage. You can also brighten the skin, and provide external cosmetic remodelling by tightening loose vulval skin.
FemiLift works by delivering controlled laser energy to the vaginal walls to heat the tissue. This triggers natural tissue regeneration and improved blood flow. Collagen and elastin production is increased after treatment for vaginal tightening, and thickening the tissue to reverse atrophy. This also strengthens the bladder neck to reduce urine leakage from stress urinary incontinence. You can also brighten vulval skin with FemiLift, when used externally.
The procedure is performed exclusively by Dr Hala, female gynaecologist, and begins with a thorough consultation and assessment. A disposable probe is inserted into the vagina and carefully rotated. This probe directs the CO2 laser energy into the vaginal tissues stimulating collagen production and rejuvenation. You'll notice a mild sensation of heat, with no anaesthesia needed for this 15-20 minute procedure.
There is generally a few days downtime after your FemiLift treatment. Avoid hot baths, swimming, and exercise for 2-3 days and avoid sexual intercourse for one week post-treatment. You may experience some discharge with spotting a few days after treatment, this is a natural part of the healing process.
You'll notice results from FemiLift one week after treatment, lasting for around 6 months with just one treatment. You'll experience the biggest improvement and longest lasting results with a course of 4 treatments, lasting up to 2 years. Further yearly maintenance treatments then help you to maintain results. FemiLift results develop gradually and feel natural rather than artificial, as you utilise your body's natural regeneration processes.
For most people a full course of 4 sessions is recommended for a full result, though in some cases you may need fewer sessions. Dr Hala will guide you through what your journey looks like in your complimentary consultation.
FemiLift vaginal rejuvenation is best if you are experiencing vaginal laxity, dryness, mild stress urinary incontinence, or dissatisfaction with dark vulval skin. It is ideal as a discreet non‑surgical solution for adult women of all ages, with minimal recovery time.
FemiLift is not suitable for you if you are pregnant or have given birth within the last 3 months. You cannot have the treatment if you have an active vaginal infection or STI, active cancer or pre-cancer, vaginismus, severe prolapse, collagen disease, or if you have transvaginal mesh or sling post-surgery. Please call us if you are unsure if FemiLift is suitable for you.
You won't feel pain with FemiLift treatment. Most clients mention a sensation of warmth during treatment, which may last up to a day or two afterwards. You won't even need anaesthetic or painkillers as the treatment is painless.
Though not everyone experiences them, you may notice a few normal side effects with FemiLift. These include mild cramping, watery discharge, light spotting, and temporary sensitivity which resolve in 1-3 days. There are a few rare risks such as burns and scarring, predominantly through improperly performed treatment. Infections also can occur rarely with this procedure, and we recommend immediately contacting your practitioner if you suspect you may have developed an infection.
Your FemiLift treatment is FDA approved and safe in capable hands. We'd recommend researching your practitioner, and looking for a medical doctor with a gynaecological background. CO2 laser is an established technology with plenty of evidence behind it. The evidence behind FemiLift is promising for vaginal laxity and dryness, and longer-term studies will help to support this.
You'll notice an improvement to lacking sensation during intercourse, or pain due to friction from vaginal dryness. This is because the vaginal tissue is tightened and lubrication is improved, and many clients report better sexual satisfaction.
