Treatment Overview

Support your skin’s natural repair process and improve overall skin quality with microneedling skin rejuvenation treatment. Using fine medical-grade needles, controlled micro-channels are created within the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This helps your skin become smoother, firmer, and more even over time.

Microneedling also enhances the absorption of active skincare. You'll get more out of your skincare routine at home, or optional add-ons such as Exosomes or PRP.

Frequently Asked Questions

Microneedling can treat fine lines and wrinkles, scars, pigmentation, skin laxity and texture, stretch marks, and can be used on face, neck and body.
Microneedling causes tiny micro-channels within your skin. This creates inflammation within your skin which activates it's healing response. As a result your skin's collagen and elastin production is increased; leading to lifted, tighter, and more youthful skin. This same mechanism also helps to reduce acne scarring, and reduce pigmentation as melanin is broken down and your skin cell turnover is increased.
Your skin is cleansed, followed by a topical anaesthetic to ensure a pain-free treatment. After a second cleanse, optional serums tailored to your skin's needs can be applied. Microneedling over these serums pushes them deep into the skin, improving penetration. Microneedling can also be performed with PRP to further enhance results.
You can return to work immediately. Your skin may appear red and flushed immediately after treatment. This is usually gone within 24 hours, however in rare cases it can take up to 3 days. Skin calming homecare products are included with the treatment.
You'll see an improvement in skin texture a day after treatment. However, tissue remodelling and the full results appear after 1 month as new collagen is formed.
A course of Microneedling treatments is recommended for most people. For example 4 times a year for general rejuvenation and maintenance, or sessions every 1-2 months for more direct concerns such as scarring.
Microneedling is suitable for all skin types.
Microneedling is not suitable for people with bleeding or clotting disorders, people on blood thinning medication, severe active acne, severe rosacea, active infections, cold sores, skin cancer, or a weakened immune system.
1-2 weeks before Microneedling you should stop using strong active skincare such as retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and vitamin C. You should also avoid sun exposure in this time frame.
The full treatment time (including anaesthetic) is around 45-60 minutes.
Microneedling can be painful without anaesthetic, so numbing cream is applied beforehand. This makes your treatment bearable and less painful.
Yes you can combine Microneedling with other treatments, and it's actually very popular. Clients often combine Microneedling with topical serums such as Exosomes, or PRP. The microchannels created in your skin allow for incredible absorption of these actives, giving an improved result and speedier recovery.
