This treatment can soften, or completely eliminate, the lines formed in creases that run from the sides of your nose to the corners of your mouth.
First you will have a consultation to identify the results you're after. Then your doctor will map the injection points on your skin, and through these injection points they will inject the filler. It will be injected close to the surface of your skin along the lines of the nasolabial folds. This can be done with local anaesthetic if you prefer.
There's no strict medical downtime but you may experience redness, swelling, and potential bruising in the treated area.
You will see an immediate improvement after treatment. Your nasolabial folds will be less prominent, and any wrinkling in that area will be softened. This result will continue to improve over the next 2 weeks as the filler absorbs water, revealing your final result.

1 week before your treatment you should stop using any blood thinners, such as medication including Ibuprofen. 24 hours before your appointment you should avoid alcohol, and notify your provider if you have a history of cold sores around the mouth.
For 1-2 days after treatment you should avoid touching your face, and skip any strenuous exercise. Sleeping on your back and avoiding any makeup for the first 1-2 days is also advised as the filler settles.
Fillers will not have a direct effect on sagging skin. However if it is very early sagging you may notice an improvement after filling.
