Ozone Autohaemotherapy

Stimulate your body's natural antioxidant defences, boost cellular energy, reduce inflammation, and support immune function from within.

Ozone Autohaemotherapy

Treatment Overview

Enhanced energy, reduced inflammation, improved circulation, and a strengthened immune response. All triggered by your own blood with Ozone autohaemotherapy.

Ozone autohaemotherapy works by drawing a small amount of blood, enriching it with medical-grade ozone, and reinfusing it back into your body. This cycle is repeated four times with 4 pass ozone, or 10 times with 10 pass ozone including a nourishing vitamin IV drip.

The result is a whole-body treatment that works at a cellular level. Shifting the body toward more efficient energy production, activating natural antioxidant defences, and supporting recovery from a wide range of chronic and systemic conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ozone autohaemotherapy can help to manage inflammatory and autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. It can also help reduce chronic pain, such as due to injuries, as well as chronic fatigue and infections. Vascular and circulatory issues can also be managed with this treatment.
First you will have a consultation to determine if the treatment is suitable for you. Then your doctor will insert a small butterfly needle into a vein, often in your arm, which is connected to the machine. Your blood is drawn and fills a container which also contains anti-clotting medicine. Your blood is then ozonated, and returned to your body through the butterfly. This will be repeated 4 or 10 times depending on your choice of treatment, all done in a sterile closed loop.
Your treatment will be performed by one of our doctors, with assistance from one of our pharmacists or therapists.
There is no downtime at all with this treatment, and you can go back to your normal day feeling refreshed and energised.
You will feel the result of your treatment immediately; improved energy levels, focus, and reduced pain if you have any. Over the following week you will begin to notice the other benefits, such as immune boosting, fighting off persistent infections.
This varies greatly from person to person, depending on your symptoms and what you need to treat. Benefits are rarely long term from a single session, and long-term results such as with chronic pain often require a course before long-term improvements (6-9 months).
We recommend Ozone therapy as a long-term commitment for best results. Oftentimes a course of at least 10 sessions every 2-4 weeks is recommended, at least initially for chronic conditions. For acute conditions such as injury weekly sessions for 3-4 weeks should be sufficient. For general wellbeing you can have the treatment as and when needed. Clients usually have one session every 2-4 months.
This treatment is suitable for people looking to manage chronic inflammation or pain, boost immune function, improve tissue circulation, or improve general health and wellbeing.
This treatment is not suitable if you have specific genetic, cardiovascular, or hematological conditions. These can include bleeding or clotting disorders, Favism, severe heart conditions, severe anaemia, and it is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Several clinical reviews have found the treatment is consistent and safe. Whilst further studies will be performed, adverse events occur very infrequently. These are often also as a result of improper administration, rather than the treatment itself.
Oxygen therapy increases the amount of Oxygen directly into your bloodstream or tissue, to aid injury recovery or hypoxia. Ozone therapy however also stimulates your immune system and activates anti-inflammatory and healing pathways. The treatments are similar, with different direct effects and outcomes.
Studies have shown that ozone autohaemotherapy can improve athletic performance significantly. The treatment will help you to recover faster, as well as improves tissue function, with some studies showing an increase in VO2 max with Ozone therapy when compared to athletes without on the same training programme.
Apart from a sharp scratch as your doctor inserts the butterfly needle, the treatment is completely painless.
Directly after your treatment you may feel slightly more tired, and some tenderness or bruising at the butterfly insertion site. These usually resolve within a few hours, especially if you stay well hydrated. There are some rare but severe risks such as air embolism, and worsening of cardiovascular conditions. These can be avoided both by proper treatment administration and a thorough medical history to determine if the treatment is suitable for you.
