Treatment Overview

Drooping or excess skin around the eyes is a common sign of facial ageing, and one of the most transformative to treat.

Using precisely controlled plasma energy, this non-surgical blepharoplasty stimulates immediate skin contraction. Over time collagen production is also increased around the eyelids. The end result is a visible lift and tightening without incisions, general anaesthesia, or the extended recovery of surgical eyelid surgery.

Results develop progressively over a few months, with most patients seeing significant improvement after just one session. Book your consultation to learn if the non-surgical blepharoplasty is right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Non-surgical blepharoplasty is most commonly used to treat hooded upper eyelids, under-eye bags, wrinkles, and crepey excess skin above and around the eyes.
Non-surgical blepharoplasty is done using fibroblast plasma technology to sublimate superficial skin cells. First your skin is numbed for 30-45 minutes. Once numbed your practitioner will move the device just above the skin along the treated area, treating in a dot pattern. This is done by a controlled burn to the surface of your skin.
Non-surgical blepharoplasty usually comes with some social downtime, around 3-7 days. On days 1-2 you may notice swelling, and there will be dark carbon crusts on the surface of your skin. On days 3-5 the swelling will significantly subside, and you'll notice the carbon crusts begin to fall away. Days 6-10 and the crusts are normally gone, with fresh pink skin left behind. This skin is sensitive and needs special care for the next 1-2 weeks, following your practitioner's advice.
You'll see a "preview" of your results after the carbon crusts fall away around the 10 day mark. However your full result appears after 3-6 months, as collagen production in the treated area is significantly improved over this time.
Non-surgical blepharoplasty is most suitable for people looking to reduce excess skin or wrinkling around their eyes. It's a great option if you're looking for results similar to surgery, but aren't ready or keen on a surgical procedure.
In most cases you'll need 1-3 sessions of non-surgical blepharoplasty for a full result. Results typically last for around 3 years, though you can extend this with further maintenance treatment such as laser resurfacing.
The non-surgical blepharoplasty will give you excellent results, but not quite to the same degree as surgery. It's most suitable if you're looking for a great result without cuts, stitches, or surgical risks.
Your treatment will be performed under local anaesthetic to manage the pain. It may still be uncomfortable, but totally manageable.
For 1-2 weeks before you should avoid blood thinners, strong skincare such as retinols, and excessive sun exposure. After your treatment you should be cautious not to pick at the carbon crusts formed. You should also keep your skin clean and dry, and follow your practitioners skincare advice.
The treatment is not recommended if you have Fitzpatrick skin type 3 or above, due to the risk of hyper and hypopigmentation. It's generally not suitable for severe excess skin, in which case surgery is recommended. It's also not suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have had anti-wrinkle injections in the past 3 weeks.
You can definitely combine non-surgical blepharoplasty with other treatments. For example anti-wrinkle injections a month after to lift and open the eye area for an even bigger result.
