PlexR can treat loose sagging skin, excess skin, stretch marks, as well as crepey skin non-surgically. It is very popular as a skin tightening treatment after weight loss, as well as non-surgical upper and lower eye-lid tightening.
PlexR uses plasma technology to sublimate superficial skin cells. First your skin is numbed for 30-45 minutes. Once numbed your practitioner will move the device just above the skin along the treated area, treating in a dot pattern. This is done by a controlled burn to the surface of your skin, leaving behind brown crusts.
PlexR comes with a downtime of 7-10 days for most people. You may notice swelling along with redness for the first 3 days. On days 3-7 after treatment the carbon crusts from treatment will flake off, and by the 7th-10th day the carbon crusts will be gone. They'll leave behind fresh pink skin afterwards which will heal and return to your normal skin tone by around 4 weeks.
You'll notice your skin is tighter immediately after treament. You'll then see a "preview" of your results as the carbon crusts fall away at the 10th day. This result will still improve over time for the next 3 months as collagen production is increased, revealing your full result.
You will see a significant result from just one session. Depending on the degree of excess skin or sagging, you may need between 1-3 sessions spaced around 2 months apart. We recommend a consultation and review for an accurate assessment.
