What To Expect After FemiLift

Your FemiLift treatment does come with a bit of downtime, as is the case with many treatments. The downtime can vary from person to person of course, but if you're following your post-treatment guidance you may only experience:

Discharge Which May Contain a Small Amount of Blood

You may experience this as soon as the day after treatment and you may continue seeing discharge for up to a week. While this may seem alarming, don't worry, it's all part of your body's natural healing process and is to be expected.

You'll notice that the amount of discharge will gradually decrease throughout the week and eventually cease entirely. Your advice is not to worry, but we understand that it could be a little stressful. Call the clinic to speak to Dr Hala if you're feeling a little stressed by the process.

Minor Discomfort

Some people notice having a dull ache in the lower abdominal area after the FemiLift treatment. Again, this is a normal part of treatment, but it doesn't happen to everyone. You can use a hot water bottle to relieve the discomfort, but you'll find that it should last only a day or two after treatment.

Call the clinic to speak with Dr Hala if you're worried about experiencing pain after treatment. You may be given some painkillers and assessed by Dr Hala, but this is usually not a cause for concern.

It might not seem like much, but that's all there is to the recovery period after having FemiLift treatment.
